New Fall Books Preview

The next couple of weeks it will be all about the books and encouraging our students to read through book talks, book trailers and recommendations. We have over 300 new high-interest books and eBooks available to check out today. There are many whole new series such as Jim Benton's Dear Dumb Diary series, The Unwanted series by Lisa McMann, The Infinity Ring series (various authors), Wolves of the Beyond series by Kathryn Lasky, Spirit Animals (various authors) and the Michael Vey series by Richard Paul Evans. We have cool sequels like Four - a side note addition to Veronica Roth's Divergent series, Ruin and Reign - the third book in the Shadow and Bone trilogy by Leigh Bardugo, and The Young Elites, also a third in in the Legend series by Marie Lu.

In addition to the sequels and series we also have added to our graphic novel and comic collection with titles like, Garfield Brings Home the Bacon,
Zebrafish, Hereville, and Foiled. We even have a small new manga collection, which is kind of a Japanese version of graphic novels or comic books.

We added many nonfiction books as well in all the subject areas: sports, medicine, history, art, technology, mental health and more. Examples of some titles are: Understanding Mental Health: Anxiety and Phobias, What is Democracy, Latin Americans Thought of It: Amazing Innovations, and Top 10 Unsolved Mysteries.
